Privacy

This site sets no cookies and runs no trackers.

It is a static archive — a folder of files. There are no accounts, no logins, nothing to sign up for. We do not profile readers, sell data, or share anything with advertisers, because we collect nothing to share.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without collecting personal data or fingerprinting visitors. It tells us that a page was read. It cannot tell us who read it.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare’s servers record requests — including IP addresses — for security and delivery. Those logs are Cloudflare’s, governed by their privacy policy, and we neither receive nor examine them.

Supporting the archive

The Support link goes to Buy Me a Coffee, a separate company. Anything you do there is between you and them, under their privacy policy. We never see your payment details.

Why there is no cookie banner

Because there is nothing to consent to. A banner asking permission to set cookies we do not set would be theatre.

The archived material

The posts and comments here were published openly on the public web by their authors between 2006 and 2015. Comments carry display names only: email addresses, URLs and IP data are excluded even where the captures contain them. Where an address appears inside the text of a post, it is redacted visibly, so you can see that something was removed rather than wonder.
