Hop over to the Aquatic Center’s Water Slide Pool for the City’s First Annual Splash and Dash Egg Hunt. The free event will allow attendees to make a splash in the pool to collect and redeem eggs for fun prizes. The egg hunt will be divided into two time slots and age groups to ensure a fair shot at the fun: 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. for kids 5 years and under, and 10:30-11:0 a.m. for kids 6-10 years. Participants can stay and play in the toasty water after the egg hunt and enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks. Life jackets will be available free of charge.
“The Splash and Dash Egg Hunt provides a unique opportunity for residents to enjoy collecting eggs in the City’s Aquatic Center Waterslide Pool,” said Mayor Laurene Weste. “More traditional egg hunters are also invited to take part in the annual Eggstravaganza, which will be held exclusively at Central Park.”
Eggstravaganza is presented by the City of Santa Clarita in partnership with the Saugus Action Committee. Held exclusively at Central Park at 10 a.m., this year’s fun and free event will allow kids aged 1-10 to grab their baskets and join Mr. E. Bunny for a fun Egg Scramble egg hunt. The park will be divided into two different areas by age so everyone has a fun and fair time.
There is not cost to attend Eggstravaganza, but participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable or canned food items with them to the event to be donated to the Santa Clarita food pantry.
