(From the latimes.com) A moderate earthquake struck Baja California on Sunday morning, with shaking felt up to San Diego. No major damages or injuries were reported, authorities said. The magnitude 5 quake struck at 11:34 a.m. Sunday just south of Mexicali, according to The U.S. Geological Survey.

Tremors were felt in San Diego, about 120 miles west-northwest of the epicenter, according to USGS reports. But there have been no calls reporting damage or injury, according to San Diego County Sheriff’s Lt. Jim Walker.
