Former Councilman TimBen Boydston was honored Saturday by the endorsement of two prominent community leaders; Chair of the City of Santa Clarita Arts Commission and William S. Hart School Board Member Paul Strickland and College of the Canyons Board of Trustees Member Scott Wilk.

“TimBen and I were the last men standing at the selection process by the City Council when Cameron Smyth went the California State Assembly in 2006. He was selected when he promised not to run when his term expired. TimBen proved to be a man of his word by doing exactly as he promised. He served the city well by being both a voice for the disenfranchised and a stickler for ferreting out facts. I have known TimBen Boydston for over twenty years, and I can testify to his undying concern for the City of Santa Clarita. He deserves to be elected, and I wholeheartedly endorse him.” Paul Strickland

“TimBen is a person of integrity who is an engaged leader in our community. You can bank on his word. When he was on the city council he always asked the tough questions and was willing to listen to all sides. I am honored to give him my support.” Scott Wilk

Mr. Boydston said, “I am humbled to be honored by men of such fine character. These men have served our community with excellence and selflessness for many years.”
