Metrolink will continue Monday’s expanded service (extra cars & trains) through Friday, October 19th. Metrolink officials will continue to monitor ridership and determine later this week if elevated train service is needed for the week of October 22nd. Metrolink has informed the City that it will allow Santa Clarita residents who maintain a local monthly bus pass to ride Metrolink trains for free through Friday, October 19th.
Overflow parking lots serving the Newhall and Soledad Metrolink stations will continue to be available at the following locations:
For Newhall Metrolink Station: 6th & San Fernando/Main (please allow yourself time to walk the one short block as shuttle service will not be provided).
For Santa Clarita (Soledad) Metrolink Station: Saugus Speedway (shuttle service to and from the station will continue to be provided by City of Santa Clarita Transit).
All Local and Commuter routes offered are back on normal routing and schedules. The City continues to encourage residents to utilize Metrolink or other alternative means of transportation.
