The city of Santa Clarita will celebrate the grand opening Saturday of Todd Longshore Park, a $4.5 million project named for a parks commissioner who died in April. Planned for 20 years on a hilltop with a sweeping view of the city, the 32-acre park features a tot play lot, hiking trails, gazebos and picnic areas. The 11 a.m. ceremony will be held at the park, 28151 White Canyon Road.
