The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor’s unanimously approved a new restroom building at Jake Kuredjian County Park in the Santa Clarita Valley, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
The project consists of construction of a new 650-square foot restroom facility, with security lighting, drinking fountain, storage area and walkway. Construction of the $364,000 project will begin in March and be completed by August of this year.
In 2004, Supervisor Antonovich dedicated this park in the memory of Deputy Hagop “Jake” Kuredjian, who was shot and killed on August 31, 2001, in the line of duty responding to a call in Stevenson Ranch.
