Measure C, annexing into the City of Santa Clarita, received 1567 YES votes and 1394 NO votes while Measure A, remaining in the County, received 1622 YES votes and 1260 NO votes. There will not be clarity on Measure A and C until there is a precinct by precinct breakdown.
Allow though on the surface it appears that Measure A, remaining an official unincorporated communities in Los Angeles County, has won out there will be days and weeks of analysis on this vote. It is possible that once the vote is broken-down by precinct that the Tesoro community may want to annex into the City of Santa Clarita while Castaic and West Ranch may want something different.
