Bear Divide hike planned for Saturday
Local Nature Weekend
Image not recoveredHikingBoots2.jpg
The local hiking club will be traversing Bear Divide this Saturday August 30th at 8:15 AM. Bear Divide is the perfect, easy summer hike. There is a little bit of altitude, lots of shade, and it’s all downhill. We will be shuttling from one end of the trail to the other as this is not a round trip hike. (Unless you want to go back uphill when you’re done). This hike has some of the best views of the Santa Clarita valley and the San Fernando Valley. You’ll love it. Bring the kids too! Bring plenty of water. It is an easy, breezy 2 miles. Meet at Placerita Nature Center BEFORE 8:15. Hikers will leave at 8:15 AM to carpool to the trailhead. Sticks are helpful if you have them. Bring your Adventure Pass, if you have one as well. For more information please contact Diane at [email protected] or visit the Hiking Clubs website at www.Communityhikingclub.org
