The Library provides materials for children to keep track of the books they read during the summer in a non-competitive atmosphere where they can share their reading discoveries with others. Experts are available to help children select materials that will be of interest. There are prizes for reading goals and all children participating in the program will receive certificates regardless of the number of books read.
The Summer Reading Program lasts throughout the entire summer and children may join their library’s activities anytime. Check with your local County Library for dates and times of specific activities or visit the web site at www.colapublib.org. Library service hours in county unincorporated communities remain unchanged.
