(From the sacbee.com) Kicking off a three-day get-out-the-vote tour with a visit to Sacramento, GOP Senate candidate Carly Fiorina urged Californians Saturday “to finally retire” Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer, calling the incumbent a career politician who has not done enough to bring new jobs to the state.

“This election is about jobs and creating many, many more of them so that all Californians have the right to live the American dream,” Fiorina told a couple of dozen supporters at her headquarters in downtown Sacramento.

Fiorina also made stops in San Diego, Orange County and Chico as part of her final blitz, rallying supporters as they made phone calls urging people to vote Tuesday.

Fiorina made three calls herself in Sacramento, telling an undecided voter that Boxer had not done enough to bring federal money back to California. When Boxer became a senator in 1993, California received 93 cents for each dollar it sent to Washington, compared to 78 cents now, she said.
