Image not recoveredRoadClosedCones-300x240.jpgThe City of Santa Clarita is informing residents that a southbound lane of Railroad Avenue between 12th Street and Lyons Avenue will be closed from 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011. The lane closure is being done to allow for the overlaying of asphalt pavement to improve the road for drivers. Signs will be posted along the route to indicate traffic delays.
The closure is part of the Railroad Avenue and 11th Street Roadway Improvements. It is necessary to do the paving during the day in order to meet the temperature specifications. The night temperatures are too cold and do not meet the temperature specifications.
