Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rethink! L.A. County wants you to take the Pledge

April 22 is Earth Day. In the spirit of this global effort to better our communities, LA County Public Works wants the County’s 10.3 million residents to take the pledge to Clean LA! Taking the pledge means following the Four R’s to reduce, reuse, recycle, and rethink how individual behaviors can add up to have a positive impact on our communities.

The pledge is a straight forward action plan designed to decrease the environmental impacts of the public in homes, schools and the workplace. Anyone can take the pledge by visiting www.CleanLA.com. Taking the pledge online automatically enters you into a drawing to win complimentary tickets to the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, May 15 at Dodger Stadium.

The Clean LA website provides information for residents, businesses, nonprofits, and schools on waste reduction programs, resource conservation, household hazardous waste and e-waste collection events, composting and more. Visit the website or call 1(888)CLEAN LA (888.253.2652) for more information.
