But I saw something recently that topped it all!
It’s just not okay to go into the plane lavatory during a flight with a magazine in hand. I’m sorry, but when there are several hundred passengers cooped up for hours with a limited numbers of toilets it’s not okay to use one of the toilets as a reading room. The bathroom is there as a convenience; do your business and get out of there as quickly as you can because more than likely there may be another passenger waiting to use the facilities after you.
There just seems to be an eroding of decorum going on in public places where some individuals think that they can do anything they want regardless of those around them. The reality is that when we go outside our own homes, we share the world with others and our actions in public places have an impact on those around us. Whether it is talking loudly on a cell phone, driving and texting, or going into an airplane bathroom with a magazine in hand, think about those around you and how that is affecting them!!
