Congressman Howard “Buck” McKeon (R-CA 25) has hired Alissa McCurley as his new Communication Director in his Washington office. McCurley started this position Tuesday, September 27, 2011. “I am pleased to announce that Alissa McCurley is joining our team,” said Congressman McKeon. “Alissa will be an experienced and knowledgeable addition to the staff serving the people of the Twenty-Fifth District.”
McCurley comes to Congressman McKeon’s office from Congressman Kevin Yoder’s (R-KS 03) Washington office where she served as Communications Director. Previously, McCurley served as Communications Director for the 2010 “Yoder for Congress” Congressional campaign. Originally from Kansas, McCurley has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kansas, a Masters of Arts in Communication from American University and a Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law.
