A new adaptation of Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” by Steven Dietz comes to life on stage at the Canyon Theatre Guild for the Halloween season. Suspenseful and seductive, this is a wickedly theatrical picture of Stoker’s famous vampire. “I want your fear. For your fear, like a current, rushes through your body. Your fear makes your heart pound, it renders your veins rich and full. Your fear hemorrhages deliciously within you.” This production is haunting, exciting and definitely not recommended for children. “Dracula” has performances every Saturday evening at 8:00 PM through October 29, with two Sunday matinees: October 9 and October 16 at 2:00 PM. Friday evening performances on October 21 and 28, both at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $12 for Juniors and Seniors and $15 for adults. The Canyon Theatre Guild is at 24242 Main Street, Newhall. Box office phone is 661-799-2702.
