The Hiking Club is hosting a Falconry presentation and hike on Saturday October 20th from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Placerita nature Center. Meet Ranger Frank and Staff member Dave Stives as they will have their personal Falcons there to entertain you. Learn the history of Falconry and more. The presentation will last approximately one hour.
At 9:00 AM those participating in the hike will drive to the Antelope Valley for a hike at the Devil’s Punch Bowl to the Devil’s Chair. Bring your lunch and plenty of water. Be prepared for wheather changes as this will be an all day excursion.
If you feel the hike is too tough, you can hike on your own at Placerita Park or drive to the Devil’s Punch Bowl for a beautiful one mile loop hike.
