On the right side of our site we have added two new links that might be of interest to our readers. The first is for The Golden State Gateway Coalition which gave a detailed presentation at the West Ranch Town Council meeting on Wednesday night. The Coalition is working with public and private entities on increasing capacity and reducing congestion on the I-5 corridor through the Santa Clarita Valley.
The second link of interest is for the Smiser mule ranch development which is now being called “The Avenue at Santa Clarita.” Jeff Lambert gave a brief update on the project on Wednesday night and pointed out some of the main features including; senior housing, a hotel, retail, and office space. The project will be submitted to the City of Santa Clarita for consideration and is a number of years away before construction would start. The site will be update regularly as the project evolves.
