House of Your Choice is an On-Line Raffle to benefit 3 charities Samuel Dixon Family Health Centers; Carousel Ranch; Santa Clarita Valley (CA) Rotary. Each raffle ticket costs $100.00. Contestants may enter as often as they want. The drawing for winner will be held on Thursday November 26, 2009. If there are 40,000 entries, the odds of winning the grand prize will be one in 40,000. If 15,000 tickets are not sold by the date or the extension date, all chances sold become a contribution and purchasers will receive a receipt for their tax deductible contribution. Each year the Foundation provides financial support to a number of local charities. To enable the Foundation to provide financial assistance to these local organizations, the Santa Clarita Valley Rotary Club conducts various fundraising projects throughout the year. Each year the SCV Rotary Club awards more than $10,000 to local charities and organizations through their Newhall Community Fund. Some of the community service projects done over the last few years include the donation of a Rotary Garden with gazebo to the City of Santa Clarita, purchase of playground equipment for special needs students, Adopt-A-Highway Program (freeway clean up), and the building of a retaining wall for a local non-profit.
