The NoHo Express is the City’s newest transit route, providing direct service from Santa Clarita to North Hollywood seven days a week. Riders who wish to extend their free service on the new line for all of August can fill out the online survey, available at www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=ouSaOg3jmHF2HAgPRHmbrw_3d_3d. A printable coupon is available after completing the survey for riders to present while boarding City of Santa Clarita Transit. The coupon is valid exclusively on the NoHo Express during the month of August. Patrons who transfer onto another bus or rail system may incur additional transfer charges.
“City of Santa Clarita Transit is offering complimentary rides on the new NoHo Express transit route to acquaint riders with the new route and its numerous connection opportunities to Los Angeles and beyond,” said a City official. “By completing the online survey, riders will not only receive extended free service on the new transit line, but also assist the City in learning how to meet the needs of the City of Santa Clarita Transit community.”
The City’s new NoHo Express transit route will officially go into service on August 2, 2009, providing direct service from the Santa Clarita to the North Hollywood Metro Station seven days a week, as well as peak and mid-day alternatives for Warner Center and Los Angeles riders. There are eight bus stops within the Santa Clarita Valley for riders to catch the new route.
The NoHo Express will also provide connection opportunities to other major destinations, including Los Angeles Union Station, the Staples Center, Hollywood, Universal City, Van Nuys, Burbank, Pasadena, and Long Beach, as well as many Metro rail and bus lines.
