The Mills®, one of Simon Property Group’s five real estate platforms, is comprised of 16 value-oriented retail destinations totaling over 24 million square feet. As part of its significant renovation program which began last year, Ontario Mills is now proceeding with a full renovation of its popular food court. This will give shoppers 11 dining options, including new restaurants such as Chipotle Mexican Grill, Stone Oven Gourmet Sandwiches and Salads, Charley’s Grilled Subs, Chicken Connection and Sarku Japan. Existing food court restaurants Kelly’s Cajun Grill, Sbarro The Italian Eatery, Panda Express and Burger King will be renovated. The food court renovation will feature a more contemporary design, comfortable furnishings, improved lighting, flooring and more.
Set to open in the spring, Dairy Queen/Orange Julius will be located in Neighborhood 4 to add to the new food options. Shoppers will enjoy their assortment of traditional ice cream with premium fruit smoothies and fruit-blended beverages.

As previously announced, Last Call by Neiman Marcus is on target to open a 21,000 square foot store during May 2012. The store will be located in Neighborhood 6 and will further solidify Ontario Mills as a fashion forward destination. During the renovation, the exterior of the southeast part of the property will be retrofitted to accommodate the addition of Last Call by Neiman Marcus, while Nordstrom Rack will be completely renovated to reflect their latest prototype.
This new addition will be complemented by the opening of Esprit, recognized worldwide for its fun, contemporary collection of chic men’s and women’s apparel and accessories. Esprit will be located in Neighborhood 9, near Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH.
These exciting new additions strengthen Ontario Mills already recognized collection of name brand outlet and value retail stores, restaurants and family fun entertainment venues. During 2011, as many as 25 new stores opened including Rockport Outlet Store, Puma Clearance Store, DKNY Company Store, Sports Authority, the first-in-market Under Armour Factory House and many more. Popular outlet and value retailers already enjoying success include Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Coach Factory Store, Nordstrom Rack, Tommy Bahama Outlet, H&M, Banana Republic Factory Store, Tommy Hilfiger Company Store, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Nike Factory Store and many more.
Shoppers are now enjoying enhanced customer amenities that include resort style restrooms with hands-free dryers and sinks, granite countertops, energy efficient features, and a new Guest Services center that offers concierge level service.
